cc 1960s butter yellow linen organdy with hand embroidered flora and dots.

embroidered scalloped hem

initially, this was a round tablecloth, not oval. using the grainline, the body was cut to keep the original curve of the hem on both the front and back.

it's slightly sheer and very crisp. it holds shape and structure particularly well, with a stiff drape.

it makes for an interesting menswear garment (as this fabric is typically definitely not used for this purpose). It's beautiful.

Please note that all textiles used are 50 to 125+ years old and may contain irregularities and/or areas of irregular color. All stains and fabric imperfections have been treated by us to the best of our ability and are common with vintage and antique textiles.

1/2 chest : 22 1/2”

Length from HPS: 28 1/2”

Across shoulder : 19 1/2”
