749406 Shirt - Men's Cropped Medium
Vintage deadstock Super-Wax African hand dyed textile was used for most of this shirt.
Front right is a quilt topper from the 1940s which I received in the tiniest panel. I've had this wax textile for a really long time and didn't know what to do with it. The quilt topper *piece* had also been sitting around for about 6 months. THE COLORS OF EACH TEXTILE ARE PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER. I think I didn't want to touch it because a.) it's insanely beautiful and b.) I typically repurpose textiles that were not originally in the form of a garment. But this fabric is soft and crisp. I made the mistake of putting on the highest temp setting to press it. Low temp iron only.
I really love this and I think I have enough for shorts. So - I may do that.
Wide convertible collar with a slight curve to the outer collar. Side seam slits. Slight crop.
1/2 Chest (pit to pit): 23”
Length from high point shoulder: 25”
Shoulder: 6 1/2”
Sleeve Length: 9”
