Braves Jacket - Men's Medium
This jacket is a loose tailored, unlined single layer jacket made from a 1970s handwoven and loomed Central American textile. The warp of the fabric is a yellow yarn- more of a mustard color. The weft of the fabric is black. Woven between the warp and the weft are animal figures done in an off-white thicker yarn.
This is not a traditional style blazer as you will see that the upper collar is rounded and much wider than you would normally find on a blazer.
I made the decision to not use any sort of interfacing because I did not want the textile to have a stiff rough appearance. So I guess you could say that this jacket is soft overall. The buttons are mismatched wooden buttons from the 1950s. The left waist pocket is offset and includes a pencil pocket with an asymmetrical pocket flap.
Please note that all textiles are 50 to 75 years old and may contain irregularities and/or areas of irregular color. All stains and fabric imperfections have been treated by us to the best of our ability.
Model pictured is 6’1” and typically wears a size medium.
