Hungarian folk floral shirt.
Vintage hand loomed and hand embroidered linen textile from Hungary. All embroidery is done by hand in a modern take on traditional kolocsa embroidery. This type of embroidery is often considered to be one of the two types of embroidery which are representative of Hungary as a whole, along with the Matyo. It is one of many regional styles of embroidery found in Hungary and is widely popular, as it is floral, light, colorful and cheerful. A special pick up from a special place where my family comes from.
