1970’s 5 layer kantha. The top layer is very fine gauzy cotton, ecru in color. The layer just beneath is paisley, which you can faintly see if you blur your eyes. Bottom hem on body and sleeve is royal green silk.

A combination of a blazer, chore jacket, cardigan silhouette, and waistcoat. This pattern was developed using details and technicalities of all 4 garments. The collarless, deep front neck drop is inspired by the cardigan/waistcoat. Pocket placement is derived from the chore jacket. The overall fit and finish comes from the blazer-2 piece sleeve, center back seam, lined sleeves, etc.

  • Collarless, 3 button front 

  • Lined sleeves

  • Hand stitched buttonholes
