My favorite.  Everyone’s favorite and most requested feedbag- the classic 1940s Purina Plaid.

I had two bags of the same (these). Both were printed on the front and back. I managed to use every. single. inch of the usable textile on this shirt. Interior facings, sleeves, under collar- everything is in the same bag. Something I have never done and probably will never be able to do again.

All patches were wittily cut and sewn then placed to my liking, as well as to patch blemishes. There is a good bit of hand finishing. The garment has an all over super light pink tint due to the red ink of the bags bleeding during the wash.

Since I don’t like symmetry and perfect order, I changed up the buttons. They’re all different woods and coconuts and corks. They don’t look bad though.

spread collar with an experimental slightly curved collar.

This is a very vintage textile. Do not hike or bike in this shirt. The textile has lasted this long so let’s keep it going! Please treat him gently.

Model is 6’2 and typically wears a Medium.

1/2 Chest- 23” (46” total)

Front Length- 26 1/4”

Sleeve Length- 9”

Shoulder- 6 5/8”
