Green and white double weave damier check tablecloth from a Parisian bistro cc. 1930s. This textile is absolutely beautiful visually as well as to the touch. Since it is double face, the check pattern is seen from both sides of the fabric but in alternating checks. Under the white squares are green squares. Under the green squares are white squares. This textile is medium weight cotton and has such a dreamy history.
