Mr. Ripley (spring thermal) - M
1960s cotton openwork/basket weave yarn thermal blanket. You definitely know this type of blanket. After I finished my butter yellow thermal mohair shirt, I really wanted to make another with a cotton fiber. This shirt is dense, but airy due to the wider yarns and open space. It really gives me like yachting on the Amalfi Coast-Talented Mr. Ripley vibes.
It must be treated as a sweater and folded, not hung, to keep it from growing and stretching.
Please note that all textiles used are 50 to 125+ years old and may contain irregularities and/or areas of irregular color. All stains and fabric imperfections have been treated by us to the best of our ability.
Model pictured is 6’2” and typically wears a size medium.
1/2 Chest: 22 1/2”
Front Body Length from HPS: 28 1/2”
Sleeve Length: 9 1/4”
Across Back Shoulder: 20”
