1930s hand reverse appliqué cotton coverlet. The handwork and stitching on this textile are darn near perfect in every sense. I cannot imagine the time or the process and cutting that went into this. More so, I cannot really understand the intricate simplicity and rarity that this coverlet is. The inside stresses me out. The weight and nature of this textile allows for a boxy, vintage fit. Soft tailored without interfacing. Vintage wooden buttons, split side seam. Truly another sleeper.
