Seamless Manorak Jacket / Oversized Medium/ True Large

I recently used canvas bank bags for a jacket in the last collection. I loved the structured silhouette and sewing precision that came with the thick canvas. But when I cut that jacket, I didn't have enough for sleeves.

Ok so, i had this idea for an anorak type jacket, but nothing waterproof. It's quite the opposite- 1940s seamless grain bags. I bought 3 thinking that would be enough. They are huge. And seamless. So, when opened, they are even more huge. It wasn't enough and it took me a week to find another (that I liked) while this jacket just sat on a hanger. I like to finish what I start without interruption. I had to do a lot of mending; reverse applique patching blah blah blah.

Anywho, I finished. I love it. It reminds me of my mother's 1991 Banana Republic anorak that she still wears to walk the dog. I try to bring it home with me every time I go visit, but she won't give it up.
