1/2/1/2 Shirt - Men's True Medium
1/2 of this shirt is made using a hand pieced and hand stitched quilt topper from 1934. The quilt topper is made of various fabric cuttings and set on cotton feed bags.
Do you see where I'm going here?
The other 1/2 of this shirt is made using a Beacon feed bag from 1952.
Essentially, the shirt is split in half. The collar is halved. The center back seam is halved. The sleeves are made using their respective cooperating textile. I'm not going to lie: I was watching bachelor in paradise a few weeks ago and one of the guys had a half/half shirt on- so I was left feeling inspired.
Please note that these are vintage textiles some over 70 years old. Please treat them with extreme care. There may be slight discoloration or imperfections on the vintage textiles that have been treated and repaired to the best of our ability.
1/2 Chest pit-to-pit: 23”
Across back shoulder: 20”
Length from HPS: 28”
Shoulder: 6 3/4”
Sleeve Length: 9”
