kpc shirt - Large
A 1940s mercerized cotton Quaker Lace tablecloth with equal positive and negative space. The lace pattern is beautifully constructed with portions both more open and tightly woven. The mercerized cotton lends itself nicely to this slightly boxy, vintage shape. The shirt is heavier in weight and is extremely delicate (no biking or hiking in this piece, please). This textile does require special care (the most delicate hand washing or dry cleaning) and I trust that it will go to a beautiful home. This specific lace is always one of my favorites to work with-both extremely challenging and rewarding. It won’t show too much skin, and exudes refined taste. Ugh, I love it so much.
Original scalloped hem applied to the sleeve and bottom hem. Vintage wooden buttons. Clean finished interior.
Please note that all textiles used are 50 to 125+ years old and may contain irregularities and/or areas of irregular color. All stains and fabric imperfections have been treated by us to the best of our ability.
Model pictured is 6’2” and typically wears a size medium.
1/2 Chest: 24”
